Partner Selection

As we build a clear picture of your brand in a given market, our thoughts must then turn toward how your brand will access it.

Our process for partner selection is based on the work we’ve already done at the Groundwork phase.  

In addition we would prepare: 

​

  • A shortlist of suitable partners that have a demonstrable capability and track record with your product category 

​

  • An Expression of Interest (EOI) document that would invite selected partners to respond by indicating their interest in your brand 

​

  • On receipt of EOI’s we confer with you and agree which partners are suitable for engagement. 

​

  • We create a Request for Proposal (RFP) that invites partners to complete information to include: 

​

  • About their organisation 

  • Their leadership and team structure and roles 

  • Who they work with and references 

  • Their financial position  

  • History and experience in market 

  • How, where and the timings around launch plans, market positioning, channels, distribution, pricing and commercials and sales projections 

​

  • Once this exercise is completed, we would encourage face to face meetings with shortlisted partners to enable a direct presentation of their plan and for you to ask questions and engage at a personal level. Often these visits also feature trade visits. 

  • You appoint the selected partner by exchanging contracts and are ready for launch!
